Philip demonstrates a broad knowledge of project operations management skills, including grants and subcontracts management, financial reporting, compliance and audits, financial planning and budgeting, inventory and asset management, fleet and facilities management, human resource management, and project closeout.
He is adept at developing Finance, Procurement, Human Resource, and Grant Manuals to facilitate smooth operations, operates comfortably in often complex financial landscapes and exhibit excellence in building capacity of staff, grantees and subcontractors. Philip has experience in managing donor projects with budgets amounting to US $25 million. In his role as a consultant to FCDO’s funding to STAR Ghana, Philip has conducted several due diligence and capacity assessment on CSOs, private for profit and public sector organisations in Ghana, and made recommendations for funding and capacity building. In addition, in his role as a Grants and Subcontracts Manager at Chemonics Inc/ USAID Agriculture Policy Support Project, Philip conducted Pre-Award Survey (NUPAS) on several institutions and made recommendations for capacity improvement and funding.
